Are you planning to attend a New York Yankees game anytime soon?  Here is a guide to help you choose which seats at Yankee Stadium are best for you.  I will give each section a rating from 1 to 5 Stars.

Economy Seats: 2 Stars

There are two sections at Yankee Stadium that offer fans with a more economical way to see a game, The Tier Reserved outfield and the Bleachers.  The Tier Reserved outfield consists of sections 26-36 and 25-35.  These sections are nosebleed seats and they are far down the line, but they get you into the park at a cheap price.  The Bleacher sections are better in that they are not elevated as high but as with many bleacher sections in most MLB parks a birds eye view is hard to come by. Bleacher sections are numbered as 37 to 59.  If your fortunate enough to sit in the lower rows of the Bleachers, you will be able to get a nice view of the bullpens.  Again, these two sections get you in and allow you to indulge in few extra brews.

Good Seats: 3 Stars

Two sections that have a good view for a decent price are the Loge Level Seats and the upper level Tier Boxes.  Upper Tier Boxes are  638-670 and 637-669.  These sections are located down the lines, in the outfield, and still provide a decent view.  Loge Level Sections stretch from home plate down both right and left field lines and are numbered 602-636. These sections are more pricey than upper level Tier Boxes but offer a nice view of the diamond.

Very Good Seats:  4 Stars

Loge sections stretch from foul pole to foul pole.  Sections 419-472 provide the best view of the diamond and are elevated just over the Main Reserved sections.  These seats are covered and provide protection during any rain delays.  Depending on the Yankees opponents, these seats can get pricey, but the view is a very good one.

Crème De la Crème:  5 Stars

Like all MLB parks, the sections that are right on the field and in between the bases are the best.  There are three sections on the main level.  The best is Field Box, then Main Box, and finally Main Reserved.  These sections can be confusing so just remember this breakdown:

A.   Field Boxes 1-80 (Rows A-J) - These are closest to the field.
B.   Main Boxes Sections 201-275 (Rows A-J) - Located just above the Field Boxes
C.   Main Reserved (Rows 1-10) - Last Section in the Lower Level

Notable Information:

-Alcohol Free Sections include Tier Reserved Sections 13 & 14 and the Bleachers.
-Monument Park is a special walk honoring those former Yankees who have their uniform numbers retired.  Anyone can enter Monument Park except those with tickets in the bleachers.
-Choose from a Luxury Suite, a Hall of Fame Suite for 16, 18, 24, or 30 people, or a two-hour party facility to hold an event prior to the game in The Great Moments Room.

Are you planning to attend a Boston Red Sox game anytime soon?  Here is a guide to help you choose which seats are best for you.  I will give each section a rating from 1 to 5 stars.

I.  Bleacher Seats
    A.  Includes sections 34-43
    B.  There are approximately 50 rows
    C.  Rating:  2 Stars

If your looking to keep things cheap, than the bleachers are for you.  As with most ballparks these sections offer the least desirable view, and you don’t get a play by play birds eye view.  But you’ll be able to indulge in a few more brews with the extra bucks you’ll save.

II.  Right Field Boxes
     A.  Includes sections 1A - 7 and 87-97
     B.  There are 12-30 rows depending
     C.  Rating: 3 Stars

These seats are located down the right field line and give fans a decent view.  These seats are generally cheaper than ones located closer to the bases.  Furthermore these seats get a lot of foul balls so bring a baseball glove.

III.  Grand Stand
      A.  Includes sections 1-33
      B.  There are 15-20 rows
      C.  Rating: 3 Stars

The grandstand is located just above the Loge Boxes and stretches all the way around the playing field.  There are some obstructions due to support poles that hold up the upper deck sections, but are rarely in line with obstructing the home plate view.

IV.  Roof Boxes
      A.  Includes sections 1-43 and 2-20
      B.  There are 5 rows
      C.  Rating: 3.5 Stars

The Roof Boxes are located above the Loge Boxes.  These seats provide a birds eye view of the entire field.

V.  Green Monster
     A.  Includes sections 1-10
     B.  There are 3 rows
     C.  Rating: 3.5 Stars

The Green Monster speaks for itself.  These seats are limited and can be pricey.  The seats are located in left field and the view is decent. Also, you’ll be able to tell people that you sat atop the Green Monster.

VI.  Loge Box
      A.  Includes sections 98-165
      B.  There are 12 rows
      C.  Rating: 4 Stars

The Loge boxes are great seats.  They don’t cost as much as field boxes but give you a close view of the field.  Also, there are no obstructions in the Loge Boxes.

VII.  406. Club
       A.  Located behind and above home plate
       B.  Accommodates several Fans
       C.  Rating: 4.5 Stars

The 406. Club is a semi-private club which includes private bar, theater seating, and fine dining.  It is a more upscale experience and there is a dress code.  Tickets to this club can be pricey but the experience is memorable.

VIII.  Field Box
       A.  Includes Sections 1-82 and 9-70
       B.  There are 12 rows
       C.  Rating: 5 Stars

The field boxes are the best seats in the house.  The Red Sox dugout sits in front of sections 22-28.  The visitors dugout sits in front of sections 61-68.  These seats are the most expensive but if you want to see the color of the players eyes, than these seats are it.
